The Sylva Foundation is committed to promoting and conducting research for the public benefit about effective sustainable forest management and the dissemination of the useful results of such research. As part of that aim, the Sylva Foundation, in association with the University of Oxford, undertook a project to identify policy-relevant research questions of high priority in forestry - Top Ten Questions for Forestry (T10Q) in 2007.
